LA MESA PUESTA

We don’t have a restaurant. We have a small kitchen where we prepare dinner for a limited number of guests.

The idea came about very simply. After a day exploring Cantabria, sometimes all you want is to come home and find dinner ready. No need to get back in the car, look for somewhere to go, or overthink things. Like when you get home and someone is waiting for you with the table set. That’s what we want to offer.

Our cuisine is simple and honest. We cook homemade dishes with seasonal products and, whenever possible, produce from our own garden or from small local producers. Unpretentious, because we don’t want to compete with the magnificent restaurants in the area. In fact, we love recommending them and believe they are an essential part of any visit to Cantabria.

It might not be the most sophisticated dining experience of your trip, nor does it pretend to be. We simply want you to have that pleasant feeling of coming home if you decide to dine with us one evening.
